Luum Studios
Luum Studios, Bangkok, is the home of two talented women, graphic designers Tong and Wow. Originally focusing on packaging design, they designed the Candle Cards, and to maintain quality of the candles in these candle-gift-cards, they began to manufacture candles.
Their small factories, collectives of women who work under the supervision of Tong and Wow, create the candles used in our Candle Cards and our Cast Candles. The attention to detail and fine handiwork on these products complements El Al's translation of their Candle Cards for a US audience, and the complexity of the Cast Candles, based on our interpretation of 18th century design.
Kiddee
We work with Kiddee Tamdee in Thailand, a graphic designer who creates housewares. We fell in love with their ceramic candle holders that are inspired by nature, and translate their organic designs into colors that complement our products. www.kiddee.com
